Since 1964, the Galt Museum & Archives | Akaisamitohkanao’pa has cared for the history of southwestern Alberta. The museum’s collections show the history of the area: the Nitsitapii (Blackfoot) people, settlers, and newcomers. Curators Camina Manychief and Tyler Stewart will provide a presentation and exclusive guided tour of the museum’s latest temporary exhibition Treasures & Curiosities. Discover fascinating stories behind the objects and learn how over 100 community members helped shape this exhibition. Hear more about behind-the-scenes work in collections and archives that helps shape how the museum shares stories through its exhibitions programming.
